CaGBC is Canada’s most reliable source for green building education, and now you can learn from them on-the-go with their online education options. Over the past several years, their online course selection has more than doubled and it is growing steadily. Each month you can find new on-demand courses or sign up for one of their live webinars.

Live Webinars

A new and improved process makes taking webinars with CaGBC easier than ever. Simply choose the course you are interested in and register. A link will be sent to you 24 hours prior to the course - it’s that simple.  Their live webinars give you the opportunity to hear from industry experts and to get your questions answered. Usually 1 to 2 hours long, these sessions cover a range of topics relating to sustainable and healthy buildings and communities.  Bottom line: this is a quick, easy and effective way to expand your knowledge and to learn from other professionals.

On Demand Courses

Missed a live webinar? Couldn’t fit it into your schedule? No problem; CaGBC has you covered. Their on-demand courses are an online self-paced option which can be completed at your own convenience.  Many of these courses are between 1 to 2 hours in length and contain a video module and a brief online quiz. CaGBC Central, CaGBC’s online learner platform, allows you to watch the presentation over again, download the slides or additional materials, take the quiz, and automatically download your certificate of attendance.

Some longer on-demand courses, such as the Green Associate Exam Prep course, the BD+C Exam Prep course, the Introduction to the Changes in LEED v4and the LEED v4 Core Concepts and Strategies course contain several modules each with videos and additional resources.  These courses range in length from approximately 3-7 hours.

On Demand Course Bundles

CaGBC’s course bundles provide a discounted rate on bulk education. For example, their Maintaining your Green Associate andMaintaining your LEED AP BD+C bundles contain a variety of interesting courses,  giving you the CE hours (general and LEED specific) that you need to keep your credential.  They also have course bundles surrounding topics such as LEED for Homes,Sustainable Communities, LEED version 4, and Health and Wellness.
