online education options. Over the past several years, their online course
selection has more than doubled and it is growing steadily. Each month you can
find new on-demand courses or sign up for one of their live webinars.

Simply choose the course you are interested in and register. A link will be
sent to you 24 hours prior to the course - it’s that simple. Their live webinars give you the opportunity
to hear from industry experts and to get your questions answered. Usually 1 to
2 hours long, these sessions cover a range of topics relating to sustainable
and healthy buildings and communities. Bottom line: this is a quick, easy and
effective way to expand your knowledge and to learn from other professionals.
Missed a live webinar? Couldn’t fit
it into your schedule? No problem; CaGBC has you covered. Their on-demand
courses are an online self-paced option which can be completed at your own
convenience. Many of these courses are
between 1 to 2 hours in length and contain a video module and a brief online
quiz. CaGBC Central, CaGBC’s online learner platform, allows you to watch the
presentation over again, download the slides or additional materials, take the
quiz, and automatically download your certificate of attendance.
Some longer on-demand courses, such as the Green Associate Exam Prep course, the BD+C Exam Prep course, the Introduction to the Changes in LEED v4and the LEED v4 Core Concepts and
Strategies course contain several modules each with videos and additional
resources. These courses range in length
from approximately 3-7 hours.
