Education about Sustainable Communities and more in Alberta

Looking for education on Sustainable Communities and more in Alberta?

Alberta’s green building professionals know the value of Continuing Education (CE). And the Alberta Chapter delivers! From LEED® education to Lunch & Learns, from symposia to summits, from workshops to webinars, the Alberta Chapter offers all the green building education and training you need to grow your professional capacity.

The year-after-year success of the Alberta Chapter’s premier events including the Alberta Sustainable Building Symposium and the Alberta Green Homes Summit raise the bar for green building training and education in Alberta. With dozens of programs and events offered throughout the year, the Alberta Chapter trains well over 1,300 green building professionals and students with more than 6,400 hours of green building knowledge each year.

That’s great news considering the rapid changes in green building in Alberta. With the introduction of a carbon levy, for example, we need to keep on top of innovations that maximize energy efficiency in Alberta!

And here’s more great news! You earn GBCI hours and CE hours with virtually every educational session and event you attend — and all these training opportunities are offered to you at discounted registration fees when you’re an Alberta Chapter member.

We've got you covered. Between January and April of this year, the CaGBC is hosting courses in:

  • Lloydminster
  • Edmonton
  • Calgary
  • Red Deer
