The Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC) is Canada's premier not-for-profit, national organization that
advocates and assists in the advancement of green building and sustainable
community development. With a membership of over 1,200 organizations and 2,500
individual members in fields ranging from design, building, operations, homes,
communities, suppliers and retail, CaGBC has made incredible strides
towards achieving the mission of reducing our environmental impact. In total,
they have already educated more than 45,000 green professionals and given them knowledge to further advance
the green marketplace.
Individual Membership
In addition to the national body, CaGBC works in partnership with a national network of CaGBC Chapters across Canada to connect like-minded people

communities right across the country and assist in advancing the mission and
the vision of the Canada Green Building Council from the grassroots. On a
local level, these regional chapters help by connecting with local government
officials, businesses and other members of their community. The regions are
classified by the following areas:
- BC
- Alberta
- Saskatchewan
- Manitoba
Region
- The
Greater Toronto Area
- The
